What Clients Say
"Lynn provides a tranquil space that invites me to lay down my burdens and relax into a peaceful space of healing on a physical, spiritual, mental and emotional level. Her work gently invites integration and balance of the whole person." ~ Simone Lipscomb, Writer & Photographer
"For more than twenty years I and other members of my family have benefited from Lynn Bernatsky's extensive training and experience and from her caring and compassion for her clients. We count her as one of our blessings." ~ Carolyn Susano
"Lynn's hands are magic. For over ten years, her hands have restored my body to a higher level of health and functioning. Lynn brings a wealth of skill and experience to her work along with an incredible ability to stay focused on her client during the treatment. The information she offers for self-care after treatment is invaluable. A massage from Lynn is a gift from the Universe. Don't miss it." ~ Phyllis Allison, MSSW
"When I “check in” at the beginning of my massage session, Lynn attentively listens to me. As she works her massage magic, she also listens to my body and accurately perceives areas that need more attention. Lynn works carefully and thoroughly to help me release any tension held in my muscles. During the session, I know that I have Lynn’s total attention to my wellness and wholeness. I have also experienced Jin Shin Jyutsu healing sessions with Lynn. Her skill and caring help me heal whatever issues may be held in my body." ~ Angelyn W.
"As a long-time client of Lynn Bernatsky's (maybe 2 decades) I should be able to concisely and concretely describe what a massage with her is like. The difficulty stems from the fact that the experience is not just the physical result when your muscles are led to relaxation, wonderful though that is. Lynn carries with her a calmness and generosity of spirit that is shared with you as soon as you enter the room. This infuses her massage technique. Jin Shin Jyutsu, a type of body work she also does, remains a complete mystery to me. But when that is included, small parts of your body you didn't even realize could be tense, release their grip . It is healing. As I said: I don't understand it! Yet I know Lynn possesses a gift, that sends you back out into the world on a different plane, physically and emotionally." ~ Rebecca
"As a 48 year old professional dancer, teacher and choreographer, keeping my body functioning injury free is crucial for not only my well-being, but also for my career. Lynn Bernatsky has been my massage therapist for over 20 years and understands the mechanics of dance and the specific stresses it puts on a dancers' body, as she was a professional dancer herself. Her approach has always been to keep my body balanced with deep tissue and relaxation work, while also educating me on stretches, exercises and other healing methods to help me heal and prevent injuries. Her attention to detail and her ability to discover and address bio-mechanical problems that are going on in my body during our sessions has enabled me to stay practically injury and pain free. Her body work is not "cookie cutter" massage therapy...it is a beautiful experience performed by expert, caring hands that extend from a heart that flows with the intent to aid her client/patient in full bodied wellness. I have tried many other therapists, only to be disappointed and aggravated. Lynn does amazing work with the rejuvenating results lasting way beyond the moment you leave her table." ~ Lisa Hall McKee, Director, STUDIO ARTS for dancers, Artistic Director, GO! After having experienced the pain and debilitation of osteoarthritis for many years and having tried herbal supplements and acupuncture with limited benefits, it was my good fortune to discover the healing energy of Lynn Bernatsky transmitted through massage therapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu. A fall in January resulted in a triple proximal humeral fracture and torn rotator cuff. As soon after surgery as possible Lynn's work with Jin Shin Jyutsu greatly accelerated the healing process. Her great gift is the ability to intuit what needs to be done in a given situation to promote healing. This intuition and her generosity in sharing information concerning self care have made her an indispensable part of my regimen. Lloyd B. Wilson
